Last night, we were watching "Teen Stars-Where did they Go?" or something like that, and it showed Kirk Cameron, who is now an avid Christian. It showed a sample of a website that he is on, and it asks, "Are you a Christian? Choose yes or no." My son (3 1/2) asked me what happens if you are a Christian? I didn't really know how to respond. He changed the subject right away, so I didn't respond (that's a 3 year old for you!). It made me think-we haven't really decided to raise our children without religion, but we aren't religious, so I guess that is the natural outcome! I am interested to know how to address his questions. My family (parents, sister) are very religious, so he is bound to be exposed to it. I want him to be informed but not brainwashed.
